Steps to follow:
- Face your fears. To solve a problem, we first have to acknowledge it. There are different types of fears: fear of speaking in public, fear of flying, fear of going up in an elevator, fear of death, among others. Recognize what worries you so much and causes you fear so you can overcome it.
- Research and find out. Many fears are caused by lack of information, such as fear of surgery or fear of illness. Do not hide from your fears, face them by learning more about the subject and perhaps in this way you can overcome it.
- Reject negative thoughts. Do not get used to fear, do not adapt to the idea that you must live with this emotion forever. Reject negative thoughts. Whenever a fearful thought appears in your mind, say out loud “I reject it” and replace it with a positive thought that contradicts it.
